(Blythe Women’s Golf Club) Member
•Our club belongs to the SCGA (Southern California Golf Association)
•The current fees (2023) to join the BWGC annually is: $60.00 which covers the SGCA fees ($36.00)

BWGC member fees ($24.00)
To join the BWGC, if you have a QR app on your phone/ tablet, you can get to the BWGC membership page using the QR business card for the Blythe Women’s Golf Club or:
You can go to: SCGA.org or contact your Membership Chair Person for the BWGC.
Click on: Join Tab at top, Select FULL Membership Pick a Club, Type in Blythe, CA, USA, scroll down to Blythe Women’s Golf Club, Click Join Now, and complete the screens. You will need your own email for this, as the system will not provide correct info to a shared email account if your spouse is joining or has joined. Your membership is valid for one year from the day your joined.
Our Membership Chair will contact all new Members to complete additional paperwork, and provide you with Information about our Club.
• New Members: As soon as you have joined on line, you will receive a GHIN number. The GHIN number is used for entering your scores on the day that you play. Three (3) 18 hole games or combination of 54 holes are required in order to establish a handicap index and be able to participate in the Ladies Day activities. These can be scores from any course as long as the Course slope and course rating are provided. Your handicap index is updated the following day. Your handicap Index is converted to a Course Handicap at each course you play. Your handicap will change according to the difficulty of the course. An email from SCGA regarding your handicap index is sent out twice a month, on the 1st and on the 15 day of the month (for info only). Check your index daily to determine what your handicap is.
Download the USGA GHIN app & set up a password to be able to post your scores on your tablet or phone.
• You can Post your scores at the Golf Course Kiosk, or USGA GHIN mobile app, or on the SCGA.org website under Play, Tools, Post A Score or GHIN.com.
Please enter your scores “Hole by Hole”. This eliminates the need to adjust your score as per HDCP rules. Check to ensure you are using the correct date and TEES that you played from. If you have problems, any club member will be happy to help. If posting mistakes are made by you or us, please let
our Handicap Chair Person know right away, so it can be adjusted.
An email will be sent to existing members advising when their annual renewal is due with a link to the website. Payment can be made by US VISA, US MasterCard, or Canadian Credit Card. If you have any issues with payment, you can call SCGA @ 1-818-980-3630 for assistance.
• Ladies day is on Wednesday.
•Sign up at the clubhouse for Ladies Day NO later than Monday 10 AM. Sign-up sheet is posted on Board at the Golf Club by Ladies Wash Room. Please use First and Last Name. Tee times are approximate and
usually posted on the Blythe Ladies Golf Facebook page. If you are not on Facebook, an email will be forwarded to your email. Check in at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time. Cost for Ladies Day: $5.00.
Cancel by crossing out your name on the sign-up sheet prior to Monday or contact the Play Day Ladies 
•Non-members or members without a handicap may play as guests TWICE in a golf year (March to February). Sign up on the sheet and put GUEST beside your name. Your GUEST will not pay the $5.00and does not qualify for the prizes. If the Wednesday Game is a TEAM Game, Guests are not allowed to play.
•Scorecards: 2 people in a group should keep score. Ensure the card being handed in is legible. (Please do not use slashes or other info not pertinent to the Ladies Day Game on the card.) All players should check and sign the card that is being handed in. Score cards are to have First and Last Name.
•You will be required to post your score on Ladies Day, unless advised otherwise.
•Speed of Play: Your group should keep up to the group ahead. Please play ready golf.
•Hole-In-One Pot. You can participate in this for a cost of $2.00. It is used to help pay for beverages whenever a BWGC member gets a Hole-In-One.
Club Champion Tournament is held in February. Cost is $10.00. Get together usually on the Sunday is open to all BWGC Members whether you have played in the tournament or not.
Diamond Cup Tournament is held Monthly. Cost is $10.00 +(Optional) $5.00 for KP’s + Net Skins.
Tournament of Champions is held in January for all monthly winners of the Diamond Cup. Monthly winners receive a Jacket. Overall Winner chooses the jacket.
•Awards luncheon: is held in March. Club Championship prizes as well as numerous other prizes are
awarded. New members qualify for a one-time birdie and chip-in pin. Birdie and Chip-Ins need to happen on Ladies Day, Diamond Cup, or a BWGC sanctioned tournament. The sheet for this is at the clubhouse. Record all your birdies and chip-ins on the sheets from games played during Ladies Day functions in order to qualify for a prize.

•Breaking 100, 90, 80 etc.= a one-time pin. This can happen at any time you play. The scorecard needs to be dated, signed, and attested. Put the scorecard in the folder with the sheet. Pins handed out at March luncheon
Our Club has Member Tournaments throughout the season. Please check out the calendar on the Ladies Board for these. Also enclosed with member info.
Golfer of the Month: You can qualify for the Golfer of the Month by entering your scores daily. The golfer who has improved the greatest from our BWGC Members will be named” Golfer of the Month” on Facebook, and qualify for a prize at our March Awards Luncheon.
